What Is CBD?

CBD, short for Cannabidiol, is a natural chemical compound extracted from Hemp — a species of Cannabis Sativa that doesn’t have intoxicating effects. Is CBD Safe?

Yes! CBD is about as safe as a natural medication can be, with Hemp-derived strands with a THC count of less than 0.3% — the legal limit in the United States — having no intoxicating properties, side effects, or contraindications, according to recent tests. It’s also non-toxic; no fatal overdose has ever been reported — even when the substance has been consumed in large dosages.

One experiment, for example, required participants to consume 1500 mg per day. No adverse effects were recorded. This is interesting because 1500 mg is far more than the majority of people would consume in their daily heath routine. For context, standard CBD gummies contains 10 mg of Cannabidiol — roughly around the same dosage found in just one full dropper of RMG CBD Oil (250 mg tincture).
