How much should I give my dog and cat?

1–5 MG of CBD per 10 lbs of body weight per day, adjusted based on your dog’s size and individual needs. Servings may be divided into AM & PM for a consistent routine.

Suggested Use for Cats:
Dosage guidelines for cats follow the same general approach as dogs. For cats and small pets under 10 lbs, droplets can be used for easy serving.

Refer to the dosage chart for MG of CBD per 1 mL and approximate MG per droplet for each tincture. Amounts are approximate — rounding slightly can help simplify serving.

Start low and adjust gradually based on your pet’s individual needs.


CALCULATING PET DOSAGE EXAMPLES:

Small cat/dog weighing 10 lbs or less:
Multiply 10 lbs by 1 MG per day to begin with a low dosage = 1 MG CBD per day. You may want to begin with the COWGIRL STRONG 1000 MG tincture (1.7 MG CBD per droplet) and give 1-2 droplets per day, may divide into AM &PM servings.
Example of increasing the dosage of a 20 pound pet to 3 MG per 10 lbs per day: 2 x 3 MG = 6 MG per day

Large dog weighing 75 lbs:
Divide 75 by 10 = 7.5 x 1 MG per 10 lbs. per day = 7.5 MG CBD per day (round up for ease of dosing)
To increase dosage to 3 MG per 10 lbs. per body weight per day: 7.5 x 3 = 22.5 MG CBD per day, etc. You may want to begin with COWGIRL STRONG Broad Spectrum 1000 MG flavorless tincture or your best deal would be any combination of the 1200 MG to 2000 MG Full Spectrum tinctures for larger pets, 50 lbs. and up.

Older pets may have day-to-day changes, so it’s okay to make small adjustments to maintain a consistent routine.
